Maids are in highly demand lately. One generation earlier, females could manage homely duties along with 2-3 kids. Now, it is almost next to impossible in spite of having a single or two kids...Have even heard that a family of 3 members have 4 maids!!!Not joking, very serious...

One day neighbour's maid didn't turn out for 2 days.She came to enquire about my maid whether she can work for 2-3 days till the time her maid comes. Unfortunately, my maid had just left and since doesn't have mobile (yes you heard right, she doesn't have a mobile!!!) I couldn't contact her. Over the conversation on maid with my neighbour, a very stupendous fact came out of the conversation. She said it has become very difficult to find maids now. Because of the fact that their kids have started taking education and they no longer wish to continue to do what their mother's did!!!!...dusting, watching clothes, cleaning utensils, etc.
I was taken aback when this thought struck me!!!No maid..baap re mera kaam ka kya hoga.???.mera kaam kaun karega???
Forget that, at least we were / are used to doing household work since mom never allowed us to wander / rest till the allotted work is done / finished
Is this the same with the current generation kids? I don't think so.. There may be few exceptions ofcourse. But majority of the kids don't even take water from matka or fridge!!!.forget about putting the plate in the sink or cleaning their plate..everything is given in their hands...They are hardly exposed to work..Everything is done by maid and whatever remains is done by parents..
Doest this mean, that the maids kids should not be educated? or does this mean that they should keep their tradition on by working as maids???Absolutely NOT..Every person has a right to educate..and earn and enjoy life...
Was just wondering what will happen to the kids when they grow up and find no maids to work for them!!!Will ROBOTS take their place???
