REAL Juice!!

Had kept Satya narayan pooja at my place. Invited few of my office friends for prasad in the evening. One of my friend Shailesh along with his wife were the first ones to arrive. Offered them snacks with fruit juice (REAL). Shailesh asked me the flavour of the juice. Was surprised to know that he couldn't recognise the taste of the juice. Are the REAL so unreal???  Told him, it was pineapple !!...When the second guest turned up, again I offered them the same juice. However, was bit confused to see the colour of the juice as whitish. Earlier one was very similar to water....Then realised, why Shailesh failed to recognise the taste of the juice...had not shaken the can before offering him the juice. all the pulp was at the bottom of the can!!! He got only the water!!!

Time....

I have often heard people say,  I didn't have to time call you.. Was very busy with work.....If you happen to call them, they will answer your call by saying sorry yaar, I couldn't call you, was busy with work.I wonder  how is it that they have time to take the call but don't have time to call!!!!

Gharme baitho paise Gamao not kamao

Many a times I have come across advertisements saying Ghar baithe paise kamao..However I had a very different experience sitting at home...Day before yesterday (24/09/13) I decided to stay at home. Reason: Not well. Severe body ache. The moment you decide to stay at home on a weekday all kinds of pending jobs come dancing in front of you....(I think this happens only with women & NOT WITH MEN :( !!!!!!)...

I had to collect my cell phone from Borivali which is 2kms from my house (I stay in Kandivali), I wanted to disconnect my Reliance Data connect card and apply for MTNL...Visiting MTNL office was another on the list, some household chores, etc....Thinking about these jobs, my mind started aching and finally decided to just lie down on the bed...You will not believe this,when you are at home you don't get sleep and in the office you actually fall on the PC post lunch!!!!!(for me it is all the time, as soon as I board the bus I fall asleep till the time security wakes you up for I card). Was thinking what to do, just to lie down, or finish those pending chores but finally good took over the evil..decided to just relax. However pain didn't subside. For a long time was wanting to take a body massage.Even at the yoga class, they recommended to take a massage once in a while. Things which are at our advantage we tend to take immediate action. Decided to visit parlour for taking a massage. Actually stood outside the parlour thinking that it would be too costly and an unwanted expense. However then other mind said, small wishes should be fulfilled and to be kept pending. U never know when you would in the clouds!!!!...Finally spent Rs 900/ on massage. Bought a bedsheet worth Rs. 700/- (PN unwanted expense!!!)...atleast was saved from buying eatables, that being a TUESDAY my fasting day!!!!!!!If I would have just taken rest at home , would have saved money !!!!!!!!!

Hair Fall

Have heard, one of the reason for hair fall is stress / tension. For me it is vice versa, I am getting tensed because I am experiencing a tremendous hair fall!!!!!!!!!!

Precious Sleep..

Now-a-days I get to sleep only when the bus enters RCP gate!!!!!!That is the only place where our DRIVER does not get to use the HORN!!!!!!

I have always wondered why people take lift instead of stairs for one or two floors....I work on first floor of the bldg...For the last 3 years, I have never used lift, I always take escalators J

Kissa pencil ka

Friday: 6.10pm. time to leave office. had  sudden urge to scratch the back...everything was already packed...first thing came in handy was the pencil.....happen to glance at the pencil, colour was different, unlike RIL stationary orange coloured...then remembered it was the pencil from Sofitel (recently attended a seminar)....casually mentioned to Karthik that I carried the pencil back with me....had an ounce of guilt that I picked up the pencil from hotel....he responded saying "you paid for the conference".......Oh no...was thinking what else could I  have taken it from there?!!!!!!!!!!! 

Tea @ Sofitel....

Attended a seminar at Sofitel hotel at BKC, Bandra... Supposedly a five star hotel.....Was surprised to see waiter serving tea from a kettle in a glass ....the one you will find at tapri chai.....the kettle too was not washed properly......What aesthetic purpose did it served....still not able to understand!!!!!

A guest at my place...

Once again my home is invaded by a tiny LIZARD!!!!!!!!!...sometimes I really feel instead of attending work related or personal development courses, I should be attending courses on shooing away the lizard(s)!!!!!!...Life has come to a complete standstill since the arrival of the lizard...at the time of my leaving the house, she was lurking in the kitchen area...Have not entered kitchen for 2 days.....not even to drink water......Yesterday called the security fellow twice but failed to find the lizard...Told the security person that I am totally a sane person.....probably she knows the security people, that is the reason doesn't dare to come out J

Finally, have called the pest control people on sunday..They wanted to know which solutions they should be carrying with them when they come....Asked me the reason to the pest control done....Told them, there is one lizard at home!!!!!!!!!!!!.........

MANGO

I wanted to buy a gift for my niece's birthday...Went to Santacruz to  buy her a dress along with my friend Niyati. Her house is surrounded by all the top branded shops. We went to MANGO...(guys this is for u: this is one of the costliest brand in clothing, even now I dread to buy Mango stuff). Bought one very simple top for her. Pl dont go on the word SIMPLE..since niece is still in the school, thought of buying reasonably priced stuff...Only the "top" was worth Rs. 2K..She didnt like the design..cannot say as usual becos this is the first time she didnt like the one which I bought. (comforting myself J.......)Went to change the TOP....thought of buying stuff for me instead of buying for her (Gave her Gift coupons)....Searched, Searched and searched for a simple reasonably priced stuff but cldnt find it..Ultimately zeroed it on a trouser..then realised the amount was not matching....short of Rs. 200/-....There was nothing worth Rs. 200..decided to forgo the amt..but then Niyati said to check some T-shirts....Bought one costing Rs. 700!!!!!!!!!!....had to pay 500 more....The main underlying fact is that the T-SHIRT was such that it can be worn only at home and not outside....when I was settling the bill,  my friend commented.....CANNOT AFFORD TO EAT MANGO BUT CAN AFFORD TO WEAR MANGO AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!.....was thinking CAN I REALLY BE CATEGORISED AS "MANGO PEOPLE"??/AAM JUNTA AS COINED BY SHASHI THAROOR.....

Ego broken into pieces!!!!!!!!!!

Incidence happened today !!!!!!!!!

My maid didn't come yesterday (Tues)...Lately She has been frequently taking leave...I dont mind her taking leave but atleast expect her to inform me one day earlier....As usual She failed to inform me...Was furious with her...Was thinking entire day yesterday as to how shall I scare her..finally thought of telling her to leave the job.....After doing Landmark Forum, I decided not to shout at her, but convey the message in a very mild way....Today morning I finished all my work by myself (skipped GYM)....When she came today, asked her the reason for not turning up yesterday...she said she had some work and forgot to inform me...Gave her months salary and told her not to come from tomorrow thinking that she may say at least sorry and continue to work!!!!!!......My ego was completely shattered when she took the money and just went away!!!!!!!!!

A crow on my window......

Very recently ....had noticed that everyday a crow sits on my bathroom window and makes a call very loudly as if he is trying to tell me something....not sure whether it is the same crow everyday or different crow....since this happens early morning (from 5.45am till 8.30am)..(.leave house at at 8.30)....i presumed that he must be hungry...(same happens with me! ! !as soon as i get i feel hungry)......hence have started providing breakfast to him...however they are very fussy with food items.....doesnt like food with white colour....if you give only rice, he wont eat..rice need to be accompanied by dal!!!!!!!....generally they like farsan, papaya, water melon, etc.....today, as usual was waiting for the crow to give a call....he didnt, thought he must have taken leave today....when i locked the door to leave and was waiting for the lift, he suddenly appeared at my window pane...since had locked the door, thought of skipping the breakfast for him.....went by lift to the ground floor...at the back of the mind, was feeling very guilty for not keeping the breakfast...had an inkling in mind that something bad is going to happen..since i didnt wanted to miss my bus, started walking towards the main gate...as soon as i reached the gate, realized something was amiss ! ! !....had worn my top wrongly.... came back home....saw the crow was still there.....first thing i did was to give breakfast to the crow ...then changed my top......can this be just a coincidence or it has to do something with the CROW.......what do you think. ? ? ? 

Maharashtrian style Chinese......

For a change, went to 6D for lunch...had heard, Chinese spring dosa is good...Thought of having today for lunch...fortunately unfortunately they didn't had the said dish....since it was saturday, wanted to have chinese food...went for an alternative Chinese dish...Ordered Hakka noodles....was disappointed with the dish....no taste at all.....most shocking was the accompanying material with the noodles..felt something odd when i had a bite of manchurian.....even in the wildest imgaination, one wld fail to guess the vegetable made of manchurian....IT WAS FROM LADIES FINGER ! ! ..........BHENDI.......................UUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSS .......One can understand , in order to be competitive, one has to innovate their products...but this type of INNOVATION is a bit difficult to DIGEST!
